Piano Keys Chart C4

piano keys chart c4

Remember, an accidental (a sharp or flat) merely means to play the next higher or lower key on a piano, and that next key may be black or white. putting these facts together, you can now easily find any key on the piano! the piano key chart above will help guide you in case you get stuck.. Octave names (pictured above): c0 - b0: sub-contra octave (a0 is the lowest pitch on a full piano) c1 - b1: contra octave c2 - b2: great octave c3 - b3: small octave c4 - b4: one-line octave, or 2nd small octave (contains both middle c and a440) c5 - b5: two-line octave, or 3rd small octave c6 - b6: three-line octave, or 4th small octave c7 - b7: four-line octave, or 5th small octave c8 - b8. New piano students hear a lot about middle c (also called c4) because it helps players position their hands correctly on the piano's keyboard.the notes around middle c provide a starting point for many piano songs, and middle c on the piano also creates a basic border between keys played with the left hand and keys played with the right hand..
